More fog. This was the last day of fog. It was early morning so the fog was not nearly as thick as it has been the past few days. At least not as thick as i had started to get accustomed to.

Brick vs Stone
This was from the start of my walk in Vieux Quebec. The title of this image is why i took the picture. If there had not been snow on the ground i would have included the cobble stone. Then you would not have been able to tell where ground meet wall ... well maybe not. I will have to come back in the summer to try that theory.

snow banks
This was what montreal looked like on new years day. I had spent the day up north at Tremblant and was not expecting this. This is the view from the entrance to my place.

little tree
I thought that i would post something a little more colourful. The fantastic snow banks will have to wait until tomorow.

Happy New Years!
Taken from the top of the Zig-Zag. Last run of the day. Always a little crazy when everyone funnels to the bottom for après ski.

Vieux Quebec
I haven't been to Quebec City in some time. So here i am wandering the side streets of old Quebec trying to avoid all the other tourists. I was surprised at the number of people willing to freeze outside. I came across this house that i remember from my previous visits. I think i just like the yellow.

Le Massif
What a fantastic day! It snowed all night and all day! Powder powder powder! For those of you who have never been skiing east of montreal, you dont know what your missing. Le Massif is a really great hill that rivals Tremblant any day. With its own World Cup run and tons of Sous- bois (Glades), steep and long circle runs, le Massif is a must for all avid skiers. Although it snow all day, we did get a little view of the St. Lawrence towards the end of the day.

Sunlight
What a great day! Blue sky as far as the eye can see. The light was so beautiful. It was so warm i didnt even have to wear gloves.

Night Skiing
This is how i spent Christmas night! There was no one, no lines, it was -5 and the snow conditions were fantastic! I guess all I could have asked for was some company.
I apologize for the poor filming but i was just holding the camera at waist level and trying to still ski. At least you get the idea that ... there was no one there!

Merry Christmas
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who have been looking at this photo blog. I know that December has not been a great month but the new year is coming and of course one of my resolutions will be to get back on top of this site.
If your in Sudbury, check out T.A.G & Film. I currently have photos hanging there as part of the "Made in Sudbury" exhibition, along with a great group of other local artists. More Branches
This is a shot from a few weeks ago. I was originally draw to this plant because it was dead but still retained its shape. Once i was up close, I could not get away from the contrasting colours in the background. The warmth of the background brick against the cool snow. I still decided to focus selectively so that the plant remained the center of focus.
